The next 3.5 billion hryvnias from the Fund for Elimination of Consequences of Armed Aggression will be directed to the restoration of communities in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Kherson regions. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

These are funds for the reconstruction of destroyed residential buildings, schools, kindergartens, hospitals.

In addition, the Government allocated another 3.3 billion hryvnias for the implementation in the current year of the experimental project of comprehensive restoration of de-occupied settlements. In particular, Borodyanka in Kyiv region, Trostyanets in Sumy region, Tsyrkuniv in Kharkiv region, Posad-Pokrovsky in Kherson region and Yagidny in Chernihiv region. The total cost of all projects will be almost 10 billion hryvnias.

In general, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Government has allocated more than 25 billion hryvnias for the restoration of the affected territories.
